Description | Work on the St. Anne church was completed at the beginning of 1874. Question of restore worship in this church. Need to build buildings for the many clergy and community that St. Anne Church demands. What would be the character of this community? Opinion of the Consul on this matter. Do not establish an educational establishment there. Social disorder produced by an education system abandoned to blind competition from churches and sects and that the prudence of the legislator does not govern. Reasons for not establishing a hospital. Reasons why St. Anne should not be ceded to the Patriarchate. Suggestion to found a college of young French deacons or priests under the supervision of the State. (PP. 330-340) |
