Description | Sending of the authentic act, drawn up by the Cadi Mollah; act legally transferring by donation, to France, to His Most Christian Majesty the Emperor, the full and whole property (mülk) of the land and sanctuary of the "Pater Noster" on the Mount of Olives, sanctuary where Our Lord Jesus Christ taught the Pater Noster to his disciples. Reservations made, in chancery, by Madame the Princess de la Tour d'Auvergne (whose patriotic gifts made this donation possible) of the right to continue the monuments and buildings, owned by France, that she has built there now and to reside there throughout her life. All without conditions onerous for the government of the Emperor and in accordance with the plan transmitted by the princess herself to the Minister. 3 appendices[Ottoman Turkish Act with translation].
